Our Beliefs
We make this statement of faith available so that those who ask may know we are Bible-believing Christians. This statement summarizes our core convictions. We appreciate your interest in what God is doing through us in media.
1. Scripture
We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is inspired and empowered by God, infallible, and our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. It is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We believe the Biblical Scriptures do not simply contain the Word of God but are the very Words of God that inherently possess His life and authority and bring faith, revelation, and healing to those who choose to receive (Matthew 4:4; Matthew 22:31; Romans 1:17; Romans 15:4; 2 Corinthians 4:13; Hebrews 10:7; Proverbs 4:20-22).
2. God
We believe in one true and eternal God, one in essence, nature, and attributes, who eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7).
3. Jesus
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, demonstrated the authority and power of God, died on the cross shedding His blood for the forgiveness of sins, rose from the dead on the third day, and is now seated at the right hand of God. We affirm that He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6) through whom we receive righteousness, regeneration, sanctification, and glorification. He is our salvation (1 Corinthians 1:30-31).
4. Salvation
We believe it is essential for all people to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Jesus Christ by confessing Him as Lord and believing in the resurrection (Acts 20:20-21; Romans 10:9-13; John 3:5-6). Salvation is offered to all by God’s grace but is effectual only for those who believe (Ephesians 1:13). We affirm that salvation is by grace through faith alone and is neither universal nor automatic (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16).
5. Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God, coequal with the Father and the Son (Matthew 28:19; Acts 5:3-4; Acts 28:25-26; 1 Corinthians 12:4-6; 2 Corinthians 13:14). He continues the work He began at Pentecost, empowering believers to live holy lives and to carry out the mission of Christ (Acts 1:8). We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit, empowering believers for holy living and effective ministry. We affirm that the gifts of the Spirit, including tongues, prophecy, healing, and discernment, remain active today for the building up of the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).
6. The Second Coming of Christ and the Resurrection
We believe in the literal, physical, second return of the Lord Jesus Christ, a future event (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 4:16-17; Matthew 24:30; Acts 1:11; Revelation 1:7). We believe His return is imminent and that upon His return, those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to incorruptible life, while those who have rejected Him will face eternal separation from God (Matthew 25:46; 1 Corinthians 15). We believe the hell described in Scripture is a real, eternal destination for all who refuse the gift of salvation (Luke 12:5; 2 Peter 2:4-9).
7. The Church
We believe the true Church is comprised of all born-again believers who have received salvation through Jesus Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation (Ephesians 1:22-23). We believe all believers are commissioned to proclaim the Gospel to the world (Matthew 28:16-20). We encourage fellowship and worship in the local church (Hebrews 10:25).
8. Healing
We believe Christ’s redemptive work provides healing for the whole person—body, soul, and spirit (Matthew 8:16-17; Isaiah 53:4; 1 Peter 2:24). We affirm that God still heals today in response to the prayer of faith (James 5:14-16).
9. Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality
We believe God created humanity male and female in His image (Genesis 1:26-27) and instituted marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24). We affirm God’s design for human sexuality to be expressed within the covenant of marriage. At the same time, we affirm the dignity and worth of every person as created in God’s image.
10. Sanctity of Life
We believe human life begins at conception and that all life is sacred from conception until natural death. Every person possesses God-given worth and dignity because each is made in His image. Therefore, we affirm the call to defend, protect, and value the weak, vulnerable, elderly, people with disabilities, and pre-born (Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5; Luke 1:44).
